Universal Accidentally Leaks Ghostbusters Coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2019

Oops? As Theme Park University reported about a month ago, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida are getting a huge intellectual property at Halloween Horror Nights this fall with the addition of a “Ghostbusters” haunted house. While TPU was the first to break the story, it seems that Universal inadvertently leaked it themselves last week.

This all started with the “Life at USH” twitter account, which is run by Universal Studios Hollywood. In a short video, Scott Kleckner (a casting director for Halloween Horror Nights) covered various tips for potential scare-actors looking to audition. While it did contain handy information, he unfortunately had a binder open with a page flipped to what characters he was looking to cast as reference.

The video was quickly removed, as would be expected. While I don’t believe this was intentional, it did show a few marked photos of various “Ghostbusters.” The above photos are zoomed in and rather grainy, so I’ll help you out a bit.

In the upper right, you’ve got a photo of Rick Moranis, and “Ghostbusters” fans know him as Louis Tully, aka “the Key Master” in the 1984 film. Naturally, he’s going to be a part of the HHN maze. Also? I would count on seeing life-size devil dogs trying to attack them (and you as well).

Then on the bottom of the image, you’ve got Bill Murray as Dr. Peter Venkman and Dan Aykroyd as Dr. Raymond Stantz. Personally? I don’t think I’ve been more excited about a new haunted house coming to Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights in the history of ever. As always, none of this is official until Universal announces it, which should be any day now.

Also a tip of the hat to Justyn on Twitter (@HHNManiacs) for this incredible find. Lots of great Halloween Horror Nights info on his twitter feed.
