Now we have talked quite a bit about this ride here at Theme Park University. A few interesting things to note. The ride will indeed feature a motorcycle rider and a sidecar sitting side-by-side. This means the height requirement for this particular ride will be very unique as both of those seats have different height requirements.
This means the cars and ride system get their inspiration from a ride in Australia. Known as Mick Doohan’s Motocoaster, the ride will not feature the same restraint system as these particular ride vehicles. So don’t get hung up on that. More on that in a future article.
Another thing to keep in mind is the length of this particular train in the promotional artwork released is only four rows long. Do not put any kind of weight into that. I assure you this ride will have better capacity than that. It’s for promotional purposes only. These trains will have seven rows and dispatch frequently from a moving belt, similar to Rip, Ride, Rockit over at Universal Studios Florida.
We are more than thrilled that an opening date has been announced and that Universal Orlando actually released artwork from their official account. The artwork that was released last year on the Pottermore website was a HUGE blunder. You can read all about that here.
We will keep you in the loop as this ride inches closer to an opening date! Want a few more spoilers? Click here for our original article we posted about Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure nearly a year ago!
