Billie Eilish Halloween Horror Nights Props Surface

Remember a few weeks ago when we told you about the Halloween Horror Nights house that was built that you’ll never get to see? That’s right, Billie Eilish had a haunted maze that was supposed to open at Halloween Horror Nights in 2020. However, due to the pandemic, not only did the event get scrapped but so did her house. You can read all about that here.

Now, this may come as a shock to you, but Universal Orlando doesn’t actually build most of the sets and props used in a Halloween Horror Nights house. Sure, they have a pretty large storage area where they will reuse certain props over and over again.

However, their dirty little secret (is it really a secret? I’d say the general public doesn’t know, but most of my readers do), is they design it. Then they farm most of the fabrication work out to local vendors months in advance to actually build what they need for Halloween Horror Nights.

In the case of the Billie Eilish Halloween Horror Nights house, these props were built but never made it to the install of the house. Thus, the builder listed them on their Facebook page in exchange for a “donation” for anyone who wanted them and would pick them up.

Not a groundbreaking story today, but interesting nonetheless.
