Mass Effect Attraction Opening at Great America in 2016 Based on Hit Video Game

Since the Action Theater opened  at Great America in 1994, it has been home to nearly a dozen ride films. Over 20 years later, no matter what movie is shown, the technology seems to be a bit outdated. This is all changing in 2016, when a Mass Effect attraction opens in the Action Theater.

Mass Effect Great America

Based on the video game series by EA Games, Mass Effect has sold over 14 million copies worldwide combining all three titles in the trilogy. The new attraction will feature massive upgrades to the theater, including a live actor and holographic projection technology that never been used in a theme park before.
