Theme Park Quality Attraction “SkyFly: Soar America” Now Open in Pigeon Forge

Have you ever been to Pigeon Forge? It’s covered in roadside attractions. Dinosaur-themed mini-golf, go-carts and carnival rides go on for miles. Recently “SkyFly: Soar America” opened at The Island at Pigeon Forge. This flying theater attraction is arguably as good as anything you’ll find in a theme park, if not better.

This new ride was built by Dynamic Attractions who is no stranger to flying theaters. They’ve built them not only for Disney Parks, but they now have them scattered around the globe.

SkyFly: Soar America” is arguably their most impressive installation to date. From the zeppelin that towers over the front door to the steampunk theme throughout the building. Even the queue and pre-show experience is just as good as anything you’ll find in a theme park, if not better.

“With over 11 million visitors to the region each year, SkyFly: Soar America couldn’t be better located,” states Guy Nelson, CEO of Dynamic Technologies Group, who co-developed SkyFly and holds an option to acquire a 50% interest. “The Island in Pigeon Forge attracts and entertains families and guests of all ages. It is one of America’s favorite places to eat, shop, play and stay. And now they can ‘fly’ there too, aboard the best flying theater attraction yet.”

What I love about SkyFly is that it takes a big swing in the Pigeon Forge market. In an area crowded with great family attractions, SkyFly brings a theme park experience to guests without them needing to set foot in one. Very excited to try this myself the next time I am in East Tennessee!
