Franz Harary’s House of Magic Opens In Macau

House of Magic

I’m on the wrong side of the planet. Again. If you’ve read Theme Park University for years now, you know that I have a huge passion for attractions that use magic as their central theme.

House of Magic

Earlier this year, I spoke with Franz Harary about opening up his new attraction in Studio City Macau, the Las Vegas of the East. Not only does the guy have a rolodex filled with celebrities who he has created illusions for, he has also worked with nearly every major theme park company in the world.

Combine all that experience with years of experience including making the space shuttle disappear and, being a huge fan of theme parks and attractions himself, the House of Magic is truly the culmination of Franz Harary’s work.

These photos were recently sent to me of the lobby area of the House of Magic. How cool does this look?

House of MagicKeep in mind, this is just the lobby. In total, the House of Magic has three theaters that you rotate through to experience various magic acts. All with equally detailed theming!

While I mull over the idea of starting a Kickstarter campaign that would pay for my airfare over to Macau, I’ll see what I can do on getting some photos of the theaters and the rest of the House of Magic.
