Located on the 50th floor of the Prudential Tower in Boston, the Skywalk Observatory is a hidden gem in one of the nation’s oldest cities.
Skywalk is the tallest observatory in New England and on a clear day you can see up to 80 miles and 360 degrees from the climate controlled viewing area.
The views are pretty spectacular. Due to it’s central location, you can literally pinpoint anywhere in the city, from Boston Harbor to Fenway Park.
On the day of my visit, as you can see, the skies were perfect and I had clear visibility for miles. However, even on cloudy days, you can still see most of Boston.
Aside from the views, there are also educational exhibits such as films about the history, heritage and culture of Boston.
Scattered around the Observatory are interactive exhibits highlighting trivia about the city, its famous residents and fun facts.
