Keep in mind, he is pleading not guilty. This case keeps getting more and more interesting. As we have been closely following, Patrick Allen Spikes has been charged with stealing props and costumes from the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World.
Now it seems that the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has released photos taken from Spikes phone. It includes not only the stolen items, but him wearing them in many instances.
Adorable. What is more interesting is that after his phone was seized, Spikes went online (as @Backdoor Disney on Twitter – now deleted) and proclaimed his innocence. Regardless, he has pleaded not guilty on all charges as of now. Below is video of him being interrogated (and taken down) when he refused to hand over his cell phone. Check out the video from WKMG below.
The question is: what next? Apparently some news outlets are reporting that the charges regarding Buzzy being stolen (and now that is official) haven’t been filed “yet”. However, it is being lauded that Spikes is also involved in that as well.
In regards to the stolen items from the Haunted Mansion, reports are saying that whomever Patrick Spikes allegedly sold them to has returned them to Disney. That person is saying he didn’t realize they were stolen. This case isn’t over. Stay tuned as it unfolds!
