By now you’ve heard the news about the live telecast for the Shanghai Disneyland Grand Opening ceremonies, which will be broadcast on the Disney Channel and Disney XD. We have a few exclusive photos of how the park is preparing for opening day here at Theme Park University that we will share with you today.
Barriers have been placed as a holding area for guests arriving early for the grand opening. Many are looking to camp out overnight to be one of the first in on opening day.
Park maps and times guides have been printed to mark the occasion and these beauties will be offered to guests on opening day only.
While American audiences are preparing for their Disney Channel broadcast, Chinese audiences will be getting a slightly different version filled with actresses, singers, and news anchors from all around China.
Finally, I have some great shots of the Shanghai Disneyland dedication plaque that will be read by Bob Iger on opening day.

I am extremely proud that Theme Park University has more pre-opening coverage of Shanghai Disneyland than any other website on the internet. I’ve been following this park for many years now and I can’t begin to tell you how wonderfully this park turned out. You really need to see it for yourself.
