Original Dreamfinder to Play Walt’s Frozen Head in Upcoming Film

Remember the film that we told you about several months ago here at Theme Park University? The one that was filmed at Walt Disney World without permission? Yes, it’s still moving forward and finishing production. “Walt’s Frozen Head” begs the question: what if Walt Disney was actually cryogenically frozen and has been locked away for years?

More importantly, what if we woke him up and walked him around the Magic Kingdom? What would he say? How would he react? We will find out soon enough when the film is released. However, they are now starting to finish production. Most of the film is already in the can, however, the voice of Walt had not been cast and recorded until now.

Ron Schneider, the original walk around Dreamfinder character and provided some of the voice work in Journey into Imagination at EPCOT Center from 1982, will be playing none other than the thawed remains of Walt Disney.

“I’ve been a passionate fan of Walt Disney’s since the 1950s,” explained Schneider. “I never could have imagined I could have been a part of anything like this. It’s a wild story told with respect, humor and a lot of love.”
