Shanghai Disneyland Resort has partially reopened on March 9th with limited operations. Disneytown, Wishing Star Park and the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel have reopened with limited operations. Now we have a look at what a Disney Resort might look like after the CoronaVirus closures start to get lifted.
Recently a report from ShanghaiEye, a news station reporting Asian stories in English debuted online. Now we can get a peek into what new procedures might be taking place. The four-minute video shows cast members cleaning down railings from an escalator. Which according to the report, are disinfected twice a day.
Before entering the resort, guests have their temperature checked by a Chinese official. Plus each guest has a health QR code that is scanned which then gives them a clearance to proceed.
The entire report is fascinating and worth a look. You can see the entire video by clicking this link and visiting their website. What are your thoughts? Do you think Disney or other parks would start going to these measures to bring guests back? Would you visit a Disney park if they had temperature checks in place once they are allowed to reopen?
