More “Trump 2020” Banners Appearing at Walt Disney World

Do you remember the guy who hung the “Trump 2020” banner on Main Street USA in September 2018? As it turns out, he’s actually been doing it several times since that incident. Despite, as he claims, that he has been trespassed at Walt Disney World.

Apparently on November 7th, 2018 Dion Cini (the guy who hung the “Trump 2020” banner at the Main Street train station) went down Splash Mountain holding up another similar sign.  However, this is not the only time he has put up a political banner since the Main Street train station display.

Apparently, he’s already endorsing Ivanka Trump for President in 2024. Personally, this is not the interesting part. Dion Cini has been holding up banners endorsing the President in very public places for a while now.

According to his own Facebook page, the Splash Mountain incident gave him a second ban for life at Walt Disney World (also known as a trespass). I am not privy to if Walt Disney World security actually did or did not trespass him from property, but assuming he’s right… how is he still getting back into the parks? Generally speaking, a trespass will block someone’s pass from entering the park. Which begs the question, how is he still getting in? More importantly, will we see him hold up more “Trump 2020” banners in the future? Time will tell.

Now it is possible that he wasn’t trespassed formally and was slapped on the wrist and asked not to do it again. But if he was… what does that say about security at Walt Disney World? Generally, Disney doesn’t comment on individual incidents like this and if someone has truly (and formally) been banned from the parks. However, it does beg the question: IF someone was banned from the parks and was a true safety concern, what measures are taken to ensure they truly aren’t allowed back in?
