Are you a huge fan of Disneyland? Do you collect rare and unique items that only a hardcore fan can appreciate? Does your money often spontaneously ignite for no apparent reason, burning a hole in your pocket? If you answered yes to all these questions, then you need to check out Van Eaton Galleries latest auction: Souvenirs of Disneyland.
For example, how have you come this far in life without owning animatronic Abraham Lincoln’s left hand? The hand is a combination of wood and metal and even still has two pistons intact. This item is expected to go for $4,000 to $6,000.
Disney California Adventure won’t be needing these soon anyway. If you’ve ever wanted to play “hotel” with your loved one, you can purchase this authentic Tower of Terror cast member costume. The expected price for this piece is $1,000 to $2,000.
For those of you into something a little more… ummm… furry, then how about these Chip and/or Dale character shoes? Sure, your friends won’t believe that you only keep them in a glass case and are never “played with,” but that’s their problem, right? These may be some of the most affordable items in the collection and are expected to go for $200 to $300.
Pictured above is wrapping paper from Disneyland used in 1955 to wrap merchandise bought in their gift shops. Using this stuff will most likely be more expensive than the gifts you wrap inside, as one roll is expected to fetch between $3,000 to $5,000 smackers.
And you’ll be the belle of the ball when you wear Betty Taylor’s actual outfit from the Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland. You’ll plunk down $4,000 to $5,000 to slide into the same dress as this Disney legend.
Halloween will never be the same when you answer the door in this Jack Sparrow animatronic mask. Used in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction circa 2006, this baby will fetch between $7,000 to $9,000.
Finally, this piece may be the one I salivate over the most personally. An actual stretching room portrait used in the actual Haunted Mansion in actual Disneyland. This particular one was used between 1969 and 1972. Christmas is around the corner, so if you’re looking to pick me up a gift in the $30,000 to $40,000 range.
There are dozens more items up for auction and you can bid online now through Saturday, November 19, 2016. For a listing of the entire collection and more, visit Van Eaton Galleries online.
