Magical World of Russia Theme Park Just Approved by Putin

You may not think of Russia as a destination for a theme park, but it looks like that is all about to change. On June 9, 2016, Vladimir Putin gave his stamp of approval on the Magical World of Russia, which will be located just outside of Moscow.  Naturally, the Goddard Group is behind this massive project, which has been years in development.

The Magical World of Russia

If all of this might sound familiar, that’s because the Magical World of Russia was actually proposed back in 2012 with a budget of around $260 million. However, this new version of the resort has a budget of $4 billion. Clearly we are looking at a mammoth beast of a theme park and resort. I’m not even sure how the Goddard Group has time for sleep with all these projects cooking right now, but I am fascinated with every new piece of concept art they release. We will definitely be following this one!
