Supercinema to Host Nightmare Before Christmas and Moulin Rouge Immersive Theater Parties

We have talked about the joys of immersive theater here at Theme Park University for years now. However, something we skipped over is Supercinema at the McKittrick Hotel in New York City, home to Sleep No More.

After the regular immersive theater experience (which you should definitely experience at least once in your life) on certain nights, they host themed movie viewing parties. So far in 2016, Supercinema has hosted parties themed to films such as “The Wizard of Oz,” “Clue,” “Romeo and Juliet,” and even a James Bond extravaganza.

Much like Sleep No More, this is not just a show, but an entire immersive experience based on the film. When you buy a ticket, you decide what character you will dress as.

Since the McKittrick Hotel is a five-story building, there is a huge space for a dance floor and party… but also exclusive sets and immersive theater experiences for guests who happen to wander into the darkness and explore the hotel on their own.

To finish out the end of the year, Supercinema will be hosting more parties. On December 3, the McKittrick Hotel will host a “Nightmare Before Christmas” party and on New Years Eve, there will be a “Moulin Rouge” event!  Both will feature unique one night only entertainment complete with characters, sets and immersive experiences you can’t find anywhere else.  For more information visit!
