Moment Factory Brings Projection Mapping to Notre Dame Cathedral in Montreal

Are you ready to have your jaw hit the floor? No, I’m serious. By now, you’ve seen projection mapping on castles, government buildings and even giant trees. None of this compares to what Moment Factory has created in Montreal at the Notre Dame Cathedral.

In honor of Montreal’s 375th anniversary, the Notre Dame Basilica will present a show called Aura, created by Moment Factory. “The Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, an emblematic and patrimonial building, is an attraction for tourists visiting the metropolis,” said the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy, Minister of Public Security and Minister responsible for the Montréal region, Mr. Martin Coiteux. “The Government of Quebec is pleased to support this spectacular luminous experience, which will highlight the architectural grandeur of this place of worship in the province of Quebec.”

This show, which debuts Monday, March 20, must be seen to be believed. Check out the clip below to get a small taste of what is in store.
