New show coming to Magic Kingdom Summer 2016

Dream Along with Mickey is the longest running show to take place in front of Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle which opened in 2006 when it replaced Cinderellabration and it’s officially getting kicked to the curb. Gone are the classic characters like Peter Pan and Maleficent and in are more recent favorites.

Magic Kingdom Castle Show

Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire will feature characters from “Princess and the Frog,” “Tangled” and (take a deep breath everybody) “Frozen” starting summer 2016. The show will feature an all new song, special effects that haven’t been used on that stage and characters rarely seen in Disney Parks, such as Louis the Alligator. Official dates have not been announced when Dream Along will close, but one can assume the last performance will be after spring break.
