Disney Shows Off Magic Bench Technology in New Video

We have talked several times about Augmented Reality and how it can be used in theme parks.  While you have already seen some forms of augmented reality in various attractions, many require you to use headsets or special equipment. Many companies are trying to find ways to work around that and keep the experience as organic as possible. This is why Disney has created the Magic Bench.

Seen in the video below, the Magic Bench can be paired with a television and rumblers under the seat to give the illusions characters are right there interacting with you. Keep in mind, the video below only gives an idea of what the technology can accomplish, not the final product. Enjoy!
