The Conjuror’s Club Magic Immersive Theater Event is Seeking Funding

Unbeknownst to passersby, a century-old meeting place for magicians has been lurking in the shadows of New York City. The Conjuror’s Club is a new immersive theater event coming to NYC, which centers around intimate close up magic and illusion. I couldn’t be more excited. Currently, The Conjuror’s Club is seeking funding via Kickstarter, so this

“Curiosities” Immersive 1930’s Sideshow Opens in Brooklyn October 2017

While immersive theater continues to branch out, this one sounds particularly intriguing. Curiosities is a new immersive show in Brooklyn set in the 1930s sideshow. The creators of the experience refer to it as “a surreal, seductive and thrilling experience… full of bootleggers, deviants, performers, and misfits.” Curiosities is being designed by some veterans in the world

Could You Survive The “Teen Slasher Movie” Immersive Experience?

If you’ve watched enough teen horror flicks, you know the drill before the movie begins. A group of careless almost adults ends up in a remote location far from cell phone reception, any other humans, and common sense. The characters in these movies are as cliche as they are timeless: the jock, the nerd, the slut,

5 Wits Entertainment Center Carves Out Unique Niche in Themed Entertainment

I often get asked: what’s the next big thing in the world of themed entertainment? The short answer is, more and more venues are looking for immersive environments for smaller groups. This gives a more intimate experience for the guest and allows them to get hands-on, thus giving patrons a direct impact on what happens

Immersive Art Installation 29 Rooms Returns to Brooklyn September 2017

Slowly but surely, a fairly new category in themed entertainment is carving a niche for itself. Immersive and interactive art installations have been popping up around the country over the last few years. For those unfamiliar, a permanent version of this medium is now open in Santa Fe, New Mexico called House of Eternal Return

“Beyond All Boundaries” Goes Beyond Multimedia Stage Show

For years I have heard incredible things about a multimedia show in New Orleans called “Beyond All Boundaries” at the World War II Museum. Before I get into just how amazing that show is, a little about this museum. Founded in 2000 and made America’s Official World War II Museum in 2003, the amount of

Would You Experience A Simulator For An Entire Full Length Movie?

You’ve definitely done a “4D” experience in a theme park by now, right?  Usually a 15-to-20 minute film made especially for a park that features all kinds of special effects. Wind, mist, smells, special lighting and even moving seats are fairly standard for what are now becoming classic attractions. However, in certain cities, you can

“The Spielers” Theme Park Parody Debuts at Orlando Fringe 2017

With the dozens upon dozens of choices at the 2017 Orlando Fringe Festival, I naturally gravitate towards shows featuring theme park-related storylines. Last year The Animatronicans took the festival by storm and sold out nearly every performance. This year, The Spielers sets out to parody that most coveted attractions job: the spieler. The story for The

Unique Japanese Attractions and Culture Featured on Yukendoit’s YouTube Channel

When I find something truly unique that catches my eye, I crow about it. Admittedly, I don’t do a lot of surfing of fan sites and vlogs simply because they are extremely repetitive. Recently, I stumbled across a YouTube channel that covers attractions in Japan (and around the globe) that I have never even heard
